Common questions
How do I connect a CDJ-2000 over USB?
- Connect the USB port on the back of the player to your Mac or device.
- On the player, press LINK, choose CONTROL MODE, then USB MIDI, and push the rotary selector.
- In DeckDiag open Connect → Scan USB and pick the player.
My model has no USB connection. Can I still check it?
Yes. Choose Connect → Manual checklist and pick the model. DeckDiag guides you through every control and you mark each one Pass or Fail.
Does DeckDiag change anything on my equipment?
No. DeckDiag only listens. It never sends commands or firmware to your equipment.
Can DeckDiag update my firmware?
No. It shows the installed version and whether a newer one exists. Update using the manufacturer’s official instructions.
A result looks wrong. What should I do?
Mark the check manually, then send us the model, the check and what you saw. Results that depend on unconfirmed knowledge are shown as WARNING rather than PASS until confirmed on real units.
How do I send feedback as a beta tester?
Take a screenshot in the TestFlight build and choose Share Beta Feedback, or email us.
